About BallStream DVDs
All match final DVDs available from BallStream are professionally recorded in HD digital
format recorded live at the event. Our video recordings are then edited in
such a way as to maintain the highest quality possible. During the editing
process a scoreboard is embedded into the lower part of the video to provide
the current point scores and frame score of each player as the match
progresses using BallStream's live scoring service and special software that
was custom developed by ArtistScope because nothing was available from
anywhere in the world.
Except for the very first event that we recorded, all BallStream DVD videos
are 720 x 560 pixels and of the highest quality that will enable a full match
final to fit onto a DVD, ie: 600 MB per 20 minutes.
Match segments
Snooker DVDs are comprised of separate files for each frame (game) so that
particular frames can be easily located and replayed for coaching purposes. In
most cases the first video of the sequence (frame one) will include an opening
or introduction for the match, and the last video in sequence will be a
recording of the award presentation after the match.
Copyright
BallStream videos and DVDs are Copyrighted and it is strictly prohibited to
copy, broadcast, redistribute or attempt to decompile or capture a video file
or any part thereof without the express written permission from the

Copy protection
Unless ordered by special arrangement, all BallStream videos provided on CD
and DVD disk are copy protected to prevent the extraction and screen capture
of match frames or parts thereof. Consequently the video files cannot be
played on a normal DVD player and can only be viewed by using your computer

The DVDs are designed to be played on a computer and not with a normal DVD

is required to view the video files.
Normal DVD players

you can order a special edition by paying ten times
the listed DVD price.
